Retreatscapes is a retreat discovery and inquiry platform only. Our sole function is to showcase retreat listings and facilitate initial inquiries between users and independent retreat providers.
Retreatscapes does not:
Operate, manage, organise, or run any retreat.
Act as a booking agent, travel agent, or intermediary for any retreat.
Enter into any contract on behalf of a retreat provider or a user.
Handle payments, deposits, or any financial transactions related to retreats.
Any arrangement made following an inquiry through our Site is exclusively between the user and the retreat provider. Retreatscapes is not a party to that arrangement in any way.
3. Eligibility & Age Restrictions
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Retreatscapes accepts no legal responsibility for false statements about age.
4. Types of Retreat Listings
4.1 Curated Retreats
Curated Retreats are listings that have been reviewed and vetted by the Retreatscapes team for quality and authenticity. While we take reasonable steps to verify these providers, we cannot guarantee outcomes, safety, or the accuracy of information provided by retreat operators. Participation in any retreat is at your own risk.
4.2 Retreatscapes Network / Pop-Up Experiences
Pop-Up Experiences are community-listed retreats that have not been vetted by Retreatscapes. All bookings and communications for these listings are handled directly between the user and the provider. Retreatscapes assumes no liability for issues arising from these experiences.
5. Booking Disclaimer
Retreatscapes is an inquiry-based platform only. We do not facilitate, process, or confirm bookings. Any booking that results from an inquiry made through our Site is a direct transaction between the user and the retreat provider, to which Retreatscapes is not a party.
Before making any booking, users are solely responsible for:
Contacting the retreat provider directly to confirm all details, including dates, pricing, inclusions, accommodation, and cancellation or refund policies.
Assessing the suitability of a retreat for their individual health, physical condition, dietary needs, and personal circumstances.
Reviewing and agreeing to the retreat provider's own terms and conditions.
Conducting their own due diligence on the retreat provider prior to committing to any payment or booking.
Retreatscapes expressly disclaims any responsibility for bookings made following an inquiry through our Site, including any issues arising before, during, or after a retreat.

Vetting Disclaimer
While Retreatscapes makes reasonable efforts to vet providers listed under our Curated Retreats collection, this vetting process does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any kind. Vetting is conducted on a best-efforts basis and cannot account for changes in provider quality, safety standards, or conduct after the time of review. The inclusion of any retreat on our Site — whether Curated or otherwise — does not imply that Retreatscapes has verified, approved, or taken responsibility for that provider or their retreat experience.
General Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retreatscapes and its directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or any retreat booked or attended following an inquiry through the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
11. Dispute Resolution

Retreatscapes is not a party to any dispute between a user and a retreat provider. Any such disputes must be resolved directly between the user and the provider.

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Retreatscapes and its directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Any dispute between you and a retreat provider.
Your violation of these Terms.
You acknowledge that Retreatscapes' role is limited to providing an inquiry platform and that any harm or loss arising from a retreat is solely a matter between you and the retreat provider.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of New South Wales, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be deemed severed. All remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
